infact I was just going to try giving her a chick yesterday night when I came out and saw she was off sitting on the nest lol

 and why?

from our current flock......I would have to go with our black silkie pullet. She is in a pen with several cockerals (coming of age). She holds her own in (an already established) pecking order. She is dumb as a post. Cant find her way home. Looks up during a rain. But for her to be the smallest bird in that pen...
She really impresses me with her dexterity.

My male silkie (reaper) is top of the pecking order....
I was 1 of those guys who underestimate silkies by their apperance
I will admit...I was wrong
They are the meanest, badest, most gangsta, bird I have ever seen.

omygosh you guys my oldest ACED his cross curricular historical fiction piece.

U have no idea how relieved I am. I thought for sure he was sunk. I got to go to bed but I am so excited I am bouncing off walls.
