Blech! Stepped outside for a smoke and found out a polecat has been visiting... phew!!!

.. love it..so much fun to be silly.. I get nervious I think my sense of humor doesnt always translate well here...... I rememebr as a kid always thought a polecat would be a super kewl pet

I have been trying to figure out what color size is the biggest orpington..so far I have narrowed it down to maybe the bbs is the biggest or the jubilee


anyways this is the progress on the ramp so far today


I got the rest of the lumber today... somehow or another my lil lumber pile mark keeps digging into and using for other stuff... not a bad thing just he was giving me a hard time about it but keeps finding it useful... so far he built a linen closet and a ramp and few other projects out of it ......lol oh the pipe thing is for the range and will have a net on it to help collect brass keep it from flying off into the tall grass and getting lost

Ah, don't be nervous, just be yourself! If someone can't take a joke that's their own issue, not yours. Gotta be able to laugh at ourselves or life is a dull motion picture with an unfinished ending...
If you descent a skunk and raise it from a baby, they're actually pretty sweet... still have a bit of musk smell tho, similar to a ferret...

Biggest Orp? Huh, never looked for that... Nice ramp!! We just tore a ramp off our front deck and built stairs, lol... Jim kept busting his butt on it when it got icy... good idea for the brass... hey, I forgot, do you have predator issues on Whidbey? Other than raptors?

suposedly but there isnt anything by my area... there are coyotes, suppose to be weasels but never seen one........mostly just raptors is the big worry here....... I went to go let the girls out one time and looked up and saw two bald eagles circling above my coop area I thought nope not today lol
