yes! The is a group of us over on facebook working to preserve and save them without out crossing them. I've got 5 different bloodlines, soon to be 6 in my group!

I'm assuming you meant how can we eat rare eggs? We typically don't eat the eggs but we do eat a few. There's only so much demand for ducklings, especially at 20° weather. During the spring, summer, and fall I hatch every one I can hatch and I sell quite a few all over the United states. The drakes we have as extras that don't make the breeding programs are mighty tasty though.

DOH never mind I was thinkign rare like raw not rare as in not many lol
