Everyone here is fed, watered, and in bed for the night. Waiting on definite confirmation, but the hen passed from fatty liver. Thought she felt overweight. Everyone will be going through some feeding routine changes so the penned birds don't all get to fat as I have a couple other fatties. Went out and was judging body weight tonight. Never realized I had fat chickens.

I'm off to a shower and bed.

one of my snowy hens recouping from a molt back in the fall. Figure I'll share pictures of my birds here and there so everyone can see and get to know us.

I've had that happen with eggs more than once. Sigh.... I love my little mutts. Maybe I'll rename the coop "The Pound"
