Dixie Chicks

@Amberjem Hopefully the cinder blocks will make it easy to heat and cool, and inexpensive! I know they seem to make great insulation against the heat and cold!
yeah hoping so
I just scored the shipping crate pictured! 10 ft by 5.5 ft. I'm thinking I can make 2 5x5.5 breeding coops out of it and use the other scrap 2x4s I have to build the wire runs!
kewl look forward to seeing your creation :)

Young's Double Chocolate was a favorite of mine at one point.

I've never had that one but they do sell Young's beer here. Have you ever tried Samual Smiths Oatmeal Stout? Very smooth and not bitter at all, which English Stouts tend to be on the sweeter side, Irish on the dry bitter side. Samual Smiths makes a Russian Imperial Stout also, one of my favorites.

Morning all! Thanks @Amberjem

Lets just say it's another day... got home yesterday at -25C to see the chickens without food and water. Of course they empty everything on a cold day. "Only" -32C this morning.

. Had a wonderful 64g egg and of course it was frozen and cracked. Supposed to warm up a little now. The chickens still seem like they do not care that it's cold. My coop has one red heat light in it but doesn't have much if any insulation. Happy Chickens!
