Dixie Chicks

I love fried okra. Okra in gumbo. Never had it any other way.
Yeah SH has a phone # but they say they don't have time to answer it much, voicemail. I don't like talking on the phone anyway unless I have no choice.

best dipped in milk, dipped in breading, then fried


to grow... OODLES of heat,  water is important.... fire ants like eating all of the seeds out of the pods...

that is all I know

Okra prepared any way to me is excellent. We sometimes deep fry it. We just slice it
 
Okra does great in Ohio. I think it would do good for you @Amberjem . From your pics, looks a lot warmer there than here. Okra is such a beautiful plant to have in the garden. Massive beautiful blooms.

So, today, we only have 7 baby bunnies

Or maybe mama ate one. She also got loose this morning and decided to check out the house. It was an adventurous morning for DH.

ETA: Maybe she moved the baby? We are still looking.

I think its native to Africa. Dont quote me on that and I dont wanna google. Aj: You could grow and harvest okra there. You probably wouldnt have 6ft tall plants...but you could harvest a good bit. Holla if u want some seeds.
