hahahaha omg you all have more chickens? least I managed to squeak by with only one turkey!! think I am gonna set up the dog run kennel with a tarp and stuff inside for em.......

Heyhey!! I am still alive!

Hubby and I went on vacation so were gone for ~ 2 1/2 weeks. This week work has been busy with catch up work.

Chickens are doing well, egg production is up too. I now get ~5 eggs a day instead of 1-3. I'll be setting up the incubator for a trial run in 2 weeks. After that I want to hatch something different: Appleyard ducks or cotornix quail or pheasants? I would really like some duck eggs, but then the quail eggs look so different.. and pheasants just look beautiful.. can't make up my mind!

The snow is slowly melting, daytime temp is hovering around -2 to +5C but still drops to -10C at night. They are forecasting snow for tomorrow.
