It wasn't that stupid app was it?

and arg!  Should I have given hugs instead?  Does this mean you upped the humidity too soon too?

Yes... and yes...

**** Hatchabatch App! Dumb me! After I even warned you that it drops a day, I didn't add it when I customized it for Calls...

Arg!!!

But was told by minihorse927 and clousert that they should be ok... 1 was rocking around a lot today, too...

hummmmm

I have had 3 chicks die... one I knew would die.. it was on "hadn't hatched yet, way overdue" chicks, so I knew it would die it I left it in the egg, I helped it out, that part went well, but it wasn't looking like it would pull it together and actually live.... one of those maybe yes, maybe no, but no big surprise that it died.... BUT the one that hatched with curled toes (and it had NO reason to have curled toes), I put shoes on, and it looked fine..... but died along with "floppy chick".

Then today, one more chick died... that I thought was totally perfect.

WILD, like totally, I have no idea.

Also, note to self.... Muscovy will NOT quickly kill chicken chicks.

True... these last three that we gave them were all pre-dead... but I asked the kids to report back to me, because I was hopinh that the Muscovy could be my kill squad... they are perfect for quail chicks....

anyway, the answer was no, we can NOT use the Muscovy as a kill squad for chicken chicks.....

The one chick they swallowed down with difficulty, but managed... the second one.....

fibro gene is dominant. They can't carry the gene and not show it to some extent. Sorry, I'm not trying to make your day worse.
I was hoping you would chime in, not the answer I wanted though. That's what I figured being they are half NN, but do not have NN I was told they don't carry the gene for it and I shouldn't have to worry about the chicks being uoogly.
What is the possibility of breeding a Black Langshan to those half cemani half NN and having them come out fibro? I saw pics and she said the two pullets are super black and hard to tell they are not cemani.
omg omg omg omg @Sharps Big 50 brought me home some gold laced wyandottes!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet he got himself some brownie points for that!

Just WAIT Till you get the urge To drop $50 AND $100 On hatching eggs...
I so badly want to buy 6 pure cemani eggs from her when I pick up the pullets, $100 for six. But I think it is a big gamble being I have NEVER hatched anything before.
