Interesting story. It's sad when you're a teenager that's constantly correcting teachers. That's part of why I dropped out. I got really bored with the classes, they were really slow, and they weren't on my level. They refused to put me in AP classes because I refused to try in my regular classes. I wasn't about to dumb myself down to make them happy. I went to job corps and part of that was taking the same test they take in the military. I was promptly ask why I was there since I was so far above everyone else.

It's simple. Most teachers are too stupid to handle me.

Yet I act like an idiot.

Same here! I didn't drop out, but I didn't graduate with my class either, I was lucky I got as far as I did, we had at the time if you passed the regents exam you passed the course, that got me most the way, failed all my classes but passed the big bad regents every year Lol! Never did a drop of homework, and then had to go to boot camp in the Army National Guard. Tried my senior year a second year for two courses and bombed again! Graduated and got the same white piece of paper everyone else got in summer school, drunk and smoked up off our butts everyday of that Lol!
Now I work at a place where half of the employees went to college, we all get paid the same. My group leader right now is ten years younger than me, good guy, has a Bachelor's degree in engineering, makes a whole whopping .75 cents more than me!
My daughter saw one of my report cards and says how can you get a 28 for a grade? How can you get a 28 in English and a 97 in Spanish? I told her I already knew English, didn't interest me, I didn't know Spanish, very interesting. Boy I am glad my kids are not like me, oldest has held high honor roll for years, second is doing as good or maybe better.

We have them come up behind the garage every year since we moved here, but I think ours our purple. Saved a bunch of seeds this fall to plant by the mailbox, they look like pea pods when they go to seed. They look awesome when you have a bunch come up together.

Edited to add, ours came up wild and are much bigger, we also have had columbine come up all over the place, and a big patch of black eyed susan's and something else I can't remember what they are called right now, green leaves with a bunch of pretty white flower bells.
