Pretty crazy, 7 hours and no one spoke...
I'm starting to miss getting in trouble here....

I built a wall, just needs paint, and trim for the door. Booted my ducks out, smells much better in here, and they are pleased with the space. Realized I have 12 roosters free ranging together and nothing has gone wrong yet... Wonder if that can last...
And scratched an itch lol
Anyone else get much done this weekend?

Most of the snow is gone, daffadils are starting to come out of the ground but no tulips yet. I've never noticed before but rhubarb and horseradish must come up first. Kids were free ranging today, rhubarb/horseradish bed is to close to their play area so I put a perimeter of sharp sticks around it to keep them from stomping them until they are bigger. Have to transplant them sometime.

Found a pic of the last mama duck I had with her 18 little ones on our pond. Pre 'smartphone' days so I'll have to figure out how to scan it with our printer and post it. Tried a picture of a picture but it looks like crap.
I miss my ducks, had more of them than I ever had chickens, broody ducks are awesome! Had around fifty before we moved and a free ranging beagle was protecting them from darn predators.
