Shipped duck eggs: let them rest for 24 hrs on the kitchen counter big end up after arrival? What do you think?
I let mine sit for a few hours, as soon as they are room temp I put them in the bator... but I also use upside-down cartons with bottoms cut out for the eggs to sit in... and just slightly tilt them side to side 3 times a day... if air cells are really wonky, I don't tilt for the first 2-3 days, depending on how bad they are...
Everyone will give you different answers, but this worked well for me...
