Sorry to burst any bubbles @Alaskan . But personally, I wouldn't use it as a breeder. Isn't wry neck genetically linked? Just saying. Also, I hope you are feeling better.

@Amberjem , I haven't read all the previous posts, but my vote for nugget is hen.

Lost the 3rd chick today. I had my doubts about it making it. Was too far gone. The 4th one is doing just fine. It is back with the others and doing good

Super busy away from home weekend. My son & his wife went to the big swap in Lucasville. They looked everywhere for a SS hen. There were no SS to be found.

asni said earlier, I've heard both and err on the side of caution and don't use them for breeders but I do try to save them.

I have over 6 dozen hatching eggs from the last 4 days and not anywhere near enough room in the incubator. :/ there might be an interesting egg auction tomorrow...

well the assualt on the ivy has come to a conclusion..now just have to clean up yank a few hiden roots and plant...if I never see ivy again I wouldnt be sad! left one small patch up on the high part of the hill will just have to monitor it and keep it in check
