I thought I'd weigh in on some Finnish property taxing, since I happened to have the papers out and just looked at them yesterday.
Since we live in a semi-detached house, this all is split between the two residences.
The property is valued with it's own taxation value, which has nothing to do with it's real value, other than the location will affect it (for instance, an area where the city want's to pressure people into selling their land as lots will be valued higher and taxed harder).
For us, the value here is 10.20 euro's per square meter, bringing the total to just shy of 12000 euros with our 1539 square meters. Of that value, we pay 0.8% tax.
The house has a taxation value of 520 euros per square meter, bringing the total to 128000 (246 square meters), with 1.25% deducted for every year of age, and somehow repair work will change how the age is calculated, so at the moment, our house get's a 16.25% deduction, bringing the taxation value to about 107000. Of that value, we pay 0.37% annually. Then there's still the outbuilding, a shed, it's valued at 400 euros per square meter (a garage would have the same value per square meter), bringing the total value to 6200, and with 4% annual age deductions, the three year old outbuilding has a tax value of 5600, of which we pay an 0.37% annual tax.
The total for the property is a bit over 500 euros, and half of that is our share.
Properties where you're allowed to build will have a higher taxation value than just owning land where you're not allowed to build.

Hi there, JWB. How are the bunnies? Hilma still hasn't taken the babies out, they're about 10-12 days old now. I think we might see them for the first time this week.

ugh nothing like waking up screaming in pain....need to slow down way overdid it
Jem, how about a hot bath? Or a sock filled with rice and nuked for 3-4 minutes to hold against the worst spots.
Jem, you need to slow down... I second Felix, hot soak helps bunches... I use epsom salts with Eucalyptus and Lavender...
Can't wait to see Hilma's babies... hope you can get pics when she brings them up...

had a heating pad on my knee when I dozed off.....no cant do a bath atm just cant do the movement atm with my legs...did espom salt bath last night
I shall try. Hilma's feeding schedule has been a bit erratic lately, so I haven't seen her going in in a while.
