ya why I put netting over my free range area to keep any wild birds out ect......probly will get some of this heavy mess nettting and larger side next month to redo the area and expand when the tree is done getting taken out I dont have pond or lake directly by me so that helps some as seems thats how it's be spread faster n jumping to other livestock...the netting least will keep the wild birds robins, finiches and plethra of other itty bitty wild birds we have here...noticed the migratory songbirds are starting to show up...least my runs are perm covered now...the tarp worked nice over winter.......I see alot of unecessary panic...changed how I was landscaping to draw the wild birds off across other area's and away from the coop area's.......or any free range area's...might not be ideal but unless I bubble each of my chickens thats best I can do...

Can I whine about the use of English by BYC users? How hard is it to spell the word definitely? In about 70% of cases I read that people are defiantly going to do this and that. Defiantly and definitely have completely opposite meanings. Seriously, it's not that difficult.

the reason for that is because you SAY definitely Definately, so it is easy to accidentally type it as definately, since that is the way that you say it.... and then it gets auto-corrected to the wrong word.

Yes, please... I'm a bit CDO about spelling, so it grates me too... also why it takes me so long to post, lol... phone keyboard and spelling do not go hand in hand... :/

No tarps for me. I did last year top the run with chicken wire cause I had a couple getting out when I didn't want them to. I will not be free ranging them either.
