No worries... eggs will arrive while spouse is gone.... I tuck them into the incubator... And since I have been incubating ALL YEAR, no one will be able to tell that the bantam eggs in the incubator aren't my bantam eggs.

Only problem.... With spouse gone I will have to make the food for coffee hour.... Maybe salsa and a bag of chips?

Totally possible.....

One time when spouse left, spouse had just made a big thing of smoked salmon... When spouse came back it was all gone...

I was asked "how could ALL of it be gone?" I replied... It required no cooking or even heating... It was ALL that the kids and I ate.

The kids and I didn't mind a diet of cereal for breakfast and smoked salmon for lunch and dinner....
