Dixie Chicks

I don't know bama, hopefully I will find out someday. Glad I'm supposed to get the blues, was a max order of five on them and their website said they were sold out of them for the yr right after I ordered. That means I can breed blues blacks and splash, the splash look awesome.
Reading on langshans some say the ones in the US are descended from Croad stock. Don't know for sure. On the langshans thread someone said their family bred them for the purple egg. Someone else disagreed said they couldn't be bred for the egg color which I guess is just the 'bloom' some have it some don't. I've heard conflicting arguments, and no pics besides the ones I've seen online. Never thought of asking SandHill.

I am exhausted. Bathed 5 cats today. My son is still in vet hospital. Two of these came from National park picknic ground. Another came from about a mile from the other two. I dont know why but people toss pregnant cats at national park picnic sites and when we stop to picnic on our way back from the VAMC salem hospital, he has to save every cat around. Shocking but they come out of the woods to him. He gives then water & food and picks these boney flea bags up & wants us to bring home yet another... We usually find homes for them. Sometimes we are stuck with them because we can not find homes for them. One we spent ove $500. On and it still died. Even one of his dogs came from a WalMart parkinglot as a small puppy. She grew and she grew. At least she was not a pregnant dog!

ouch, 5 cats. Bet you're all kinds of scratched up. Bless you guys for saving them. Around here people dump animals and most get shot.

Omg, the express live mail department called! They found them, they are alive! They asked me to email permission over to feed and water them until they have to leave. They're trying to get them on a commercial flight to their final destination so they don't have to wait on fedex!

Please notice the shape of the combs & wattles, the shape of English orpingtons and not Wyandottes. Please notice the color of feet not wyandottes. Then please notice my amature attempt at an unheard of Blue Laced Red English Orpington by noticing the feather coloration. I am still working on it.
