Dixie Chicks

Ahem... ya... this is why I'm so frustrated... I took the bantams out of the cages, left the cages there... in 2 of the cages they took the banty's out of, we set the traps blocked up just like you described with the trap opening the only way into the cages...

It (or they) have ignored the traps... after almost 2 weeks, I took a trio of the banty's, set up a new cage in the front in the middle of my breeding pens and put them in there... roo was driving me nuts... this predator went after them AGAIN and ignored several 2 month old juvies in an open pen right next to them!

That roo saved my little Lemon Blue, but he was taken across the top of our back deck... nothing has been that bold here, everything else goes under...

Today, I went up the hill and into the woods... we went around and located the burrows, like 8" round big, deep burrows... I sent 'care packages' down them and secured heavy gauge wire grids over the holes covered with lots and lots of rocks...
the picture of prints from a few days ago your fiance has posted on Facebook is a fox...or bobcat. Both very hard to catch

What about grilled jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon? UM, YUM!!!

I'm going to stop talking about food. You're on a diet and doing much better with yours than I am mine.

DS is back from his most recent vacation to Gatlinburg. I took care of his fish while he was away for the week and he text me and said "Didn't you notice my frontosa laid eggs??!!??" NO! I am a chicken person who knows nadda about fish spawning, breeding and whatever. DS and DIL are super picky with their fish and the only reason I got nominated this time is that his father didn't feed them enough last vacation. He told me to warn the fish before I walk in the room because they are not used to my body shape

. I got smart and told him "I am warning them and that they are eating just fine." I said "Your fish must think that I am you and that DD is DIL

!" They are nuts over their fish. LOL! Just like I am with my chickens I guess.

Weight watchers allows you to eat anything you want.... Not yelling just emphasizing.... They offer up choices within guide lines of good nutrition and strategies for those to help you loose weight. what you eat is up to you... as long as you write it down and find the nutritional information on it you can figure out how it works in your program. Every one eats differently... in the past couple of weeks I have had Sushi, Greek Gyros, KFC chicken pot pie, and Mexican shrimp cocktail... NOT every day but enough so that I am not feeling left out or deprived.... But the recipes I have made that tweaked out the extra fat and bumped up the veggies have all been very successful. Fortunately for me I don't crave sweets like ice cream or sticky buns and cookies. My issue is hoovering up the leftovers way beyond feeling full. and Being aware actually aware of what I am eating. I havent been eating enough.... surprisingly....

LOL... I have had many aquariums over the years... STill have a 110 sitting in my carport waiting for occupants.... But I fed my fish.... every two to three days... my water was always clear and clean the fish grew like mad.... And yep I had angels and exotic freshwater fish. The only thing I wont try again is Discus.... Too many ph tests and special filtration... and they are too expensive.

My next venture will be Tilapia for the table....

VEry easy African Chiclid and very prolific.

For what its worth I don't know many fish that don't like a leaf of spinach or a ring of zucchini occasionally. I used a fishing weight and tied a string through the zuchini to keep it from floating around. My Plecostomus would latch on like a nursing pup.... I like the oddballs... Banjo Cats, Upside down cats, and Geophagus Jurupari.... a funny sliver fish with lots of teeny reflective blue dots eyes up high and mouth town low... they cruze around the tank ... Picking up rocks and spitting them out.... over and over and over again... they are feeding of micro flora and fauna off the rocks... Because of this they are sometimes called Earth Eaters

Juveniles like above look much different than the full grown ones. more colorful. Mine only got to be about six inches long they get up to ten inches long in a large aquarium or in the wild.

We switched away from Sprint and I needed my ESN to be clean because I already sold my phone. I ended up in a chat with one of those helpful people like chatting in a box and she took my credit card info and paid the phones off and cleaned them out. Now I have to sell my husband's iPhone 5s. All different kinds of prices. So I also left it OBO. We went to Metro because sprint was $181 a month and Metro was $50. each with all the taxes and stuff included. On sprint they had added on $20 fees for smart phones. Just robbery. Now I have a Motorola Moto that I bought myself and it's a great phone. It actually "beamed" my phone numbers in from the other phone.

I went to see my horse and spray her down with water . It's so hot. I'm really tired of the drama at the horse boarding place. Last week my horse is in the closest pasture with 2 other horses and today she's in a back pasture with another horse, and the 2 others are back further. With all the bs reasons, no one called and told me they were moving my horse, and 3 other horses are in the front pasture. It's a lot further to walk to get her. I think a lot has to do with this woman that moved in and kind of took over the barn management. She wants every one bowing to her intelligence . She has her neck in a brace following a surgery for a shock thing that controls the pain in her shoulder. On the other hand she's going to be "training" race horses. I just don't think I've ever met so many people living in LaLa land.

I love it when people have more money than sense... wrt horses.... I have a special soap box for them... one day on the horse discussion thread I will share some of my stories.

My friend and I went to see Cirque di Soleil and on the way home we actually picked up a box of nice hot crispy creams. Of course they're only 20 calories apiece, so I had 2.

Not a fan of Crispy Creams... but the thought of A fresh hot out of the deep fryer plain glazed donut has me drooling right now. I like them too much to have them on hand.... But I have no compunctions of going into the donut shop and buying just one.

one yeast Donut with plain glaze on it is 7 points.... Most whole WW meals from the freezer are about 6-9 points. so given the amount of points i am supposed to eat during the day I decide wether I want to give up something else for it. Thank goodness there is only one donut shop I like in town.

Deb,

You have KFC in California?

I miss working in a big city. Used to have my choice between 100s of restaurants. Little town I work in now has 3. No big name restaurant chains or anything. Just 3 little mom and pop operations. Two close at 2pm. Then the pizza place opens at 4pm daily. It's crazy.

I'd better get busy. Work as usual. Have a great day!
