I had a chick hatch from an Araucana hen and Orp roo, he is already bigger than his mom, so yours will probably end up somewhere in between in size too...

Yeah, kinda what I am expecting. Hopefully not all roos and I am keeping my fingers crossed for a comb like moms!

btw omgosh you guys are sooo bad all these cute cute cute baby chick pictures!!! and violet is broody and just give me an excuse to see if she will sit and hatch em! Now here's a science project I'd like to build. Hit and miss motor running a generator, powered by wood gas. Those hit miss engines are quiet.
