My big girls beat the chicken poop out of younger toos.

Oh, that's the same with my chickens... roos don't run the flocks here, lol...

We were talking about 2 Call drakes and 2 younger Mallard/Rouen ducks... the drakes are tiny and the ducks are really BIG girls... it's hilarious to watch the boys trying to stay on for the full 8 seconds...

Speaking about eggs: I found a "hidden" nest today. Didn't even think my coop had any hiding spots... So 13 eggs later I figured out why the new layers just quit laying about a week ago. Cuz they found a new spot! Candled and float tested all, cracked one open and I think these eggs are still safe to eat.

At least 1 of our big ducks has started laying... we now have lovely duck eggs for baking...

But either way I'm excited. OMG best part, midwife says I can probably try for a natural birth! It's a big deal to me so I'm glad she's supportive
