Anyone else see a huge halo around the moon again tonight? It's awesome!

Was watching the chickens today, not something I normally do very often, they are not my pets, but it was too dang loud in the house. Wife said she noticed a lot of fighting in my group of 'keepers', still have the giants with the sussex. I'm going to have to do some more culling, probably tomorrow, couldn't do it on Christmas Lol! On both coops, have to separate these guys for sure. Still keeping some favorites in the big coop, EE mostly, just not sure yet who I'm going to put where, probably be easier to build another coop...ugghh...
'Keeper' coop, no lost feathers and they all seemed fine when I feed them...watched them a bit. Big boy white giant definitely rules the coop, but the red sussex cockerels are causing some problems. It was like watching a pair of running backs tag all pullets while the defensive lineman tries to keep up. No wonder there isn't any bad fights, sussex duck and move, giant barrels forward in slow motion to protect/defend, neither one is a match for the other. Giant would stomp the guts out of the sussex if he could catch them, second giant just seems to be a fan, doesn't do much but follow everyone around Lol! Got to get them segregated, was hoping to wait till spring...It was like T-Rex chasing some velociraptors Lol!

lol, Beer... yup, I got a young cockerel in the Am pen trying to out maneuver his dad... plays tag the pullets but they yell and dad comes runnin... son is quick as lightning and bugs out, ducking and weaving... no fights, just tag, holler, chase...

Saw the moon and halo last night, was awesome... rained all day today and clouds are still thick tonight... :/

I ran the laptop watching movies until the battery died.
