Nice that I still have some electronics with batteries...

The power company found the problem, and gave an estimate of three more hours.

That is not so bad... The mountain of plowing can wait until morning... And it isn't too cold, so I don't feel compelled to run through the neighborhood starting up generators.

Glad it's not too bad and isn't gonna be much longer... doesn't feel like the end of December here... OH's parents ran the AC today... this has me worried about how Jan/Feb are going to be... :/

Even the Calls are still laying like mad hatters, lol... and Crash laid her first egg Christmas morning... they haven't gotten the memo that it's winter...

First pot of tea I made I had weird scary dreams that night, wife blamed it on the tea Lol.
The tea was actually not what I expected, mild and no mushroom flavor, tasted like green tea, you wouldn't had known it was made with dried, ground, 'bear turd' fungus.
Seriously there was a huge halo around the moon, I saw it.

Stuck plow truck.... After digging lots, sawing down spruce, getting spruce under the wheels, etc. we got it out, then promptly ran the one tonne plow truck right into my house.... No more brakes.

Oh, we did add brake fluid, and it ran right out, but we can't find WHERE it is leaking... Totally dematerializing brake fluid.

We also busted the 4WD on the jeep trying to use it to help the plow truck.

We did get the drive to the church plowed before the excitement...... But the clouds say "more snow"

I already called the burly tow truck people.... (Verses weeny tiny tow truck people), so they can come get the plow truck and drag it into town.



Whew... What a day.

Alaskan, we need a nice old farm tractor. One with a snow plow blade on front and a back blade behind. Loaded tires with ring chains. We would never get stuck again, plowing might be cold, but never stuck.
