Ice fishing's awesome! You get to stand on the water where you usually set in a boat in the summer.
Really fun when it warms up you have to leap and jump and run cause your breaking through the top layer, to get to the hard stuff further out. Forgot the ladder....

And some of the European shanty towns of ice huts...they eat French cuisine. I watched a show on the telly and it would make the wives guilty comparing how some of the flamboyant (not jest floating) dudes cook and rough it fishing. Better digs than I have now! Eeek...

Some have power as in solar panels...microwaves, heaters, can watch the game on a big screen in the hut.

Looks like these ones are ROUGHING IT terrible...ugh, eh

Ha...little known sport that yells to be discovered for what is really going on in them thar HUTs, eh!!
