We've got some pippers in under our broody Töyhtis! This will be a bit of a gamble though, she only went broody full time on Friday. I'm told in the OFH that chances are she will reject the chicks, but if there's a chance we can get away with this I'd say the reward is worth the risk.

My only complaint about Meyer is that their Jerseys don't get very big. My 4 year old Black Australorp is bigger than my nearly one year old Jerseys. I won't compaire them to my buckeyes and Chantecler. They're much higher quality, so of course they're bigger.

Jersey Giants are fully grown at 18 months. I also have a couple hens I purchased from a local breeder 2 years ago. They are monsters. Hoping to get some good stock out of these though. Time will tell. :)
