Btw Serrin, I put these pics on a different thread. Here are pics of 2 of the 5 roos that hatched from Dixie's first hatch. I thought you would like to see them. I will get updated pics of the others tomorrow along with the EE hen we hatched from that batch too.

What a cool combination! A barred EE! I'd give my eye teeth to have one just like him...or a little pullet would be even better yet. You're going to keep this one you say? I sure hope you're working with him ever day to keep him gentle and sweet. Cuz if he favors the BR side of his heritage, you're really gonna want him to stay sweet! He's gonna get BIG!!!

Thanks for posting the pics Maxx. I've been wondering how the wee ones have been doing. On that first roo, who did you decide his momma is? He certainly is loud of color, isn't he? Looks like he walked under the ladder at just the wrong moment when a bucket of white paint was being spilled!
