The very top ones I have drilled in mine near the light sockets, those are sealed with tape, I only had them drilled if needed during hatching.
try that, otherwise you need to mess with your vent and shelf size in the bottom, thats why I said it took me forever to get it right, and I made adjustments before I permanently installed the bottom shelf. I also have the top hole on the left side sealed with tape. I would use duct tape and add it to your return vent and just start by making it half inch smaller on each side, and then see what difference that makes. your sure your back vent is sealed very well?
Quote: you dont want to close more than that top one, if you can adjust the bottom vent area and see what happens first, then mess with the tray, looks like you have it already set up, you may have to remove it and use cardboard to get the perfect distance out, my fiddling was combo of the bottom air duct size and the shelf size.
The last one looks like a blood ring too, perhaps a later on death, if it don't stink candle in a another day and check to be sure its dead. Here are 4 "blood ring" eggs I am sure of.

. Crap!
The six I marked with a "?" Turned out to not be fertilized.
Here is one I think is a "blood ring" but I'm not sure. I'm in day 9. There is no movement like in the others.
What do you guys think? Chunk it or keep it?
And then there were only 7......out of 18..... Bummer.

Quote: @chicken pickin Hey, if all else fails, try removing the bottom shelf. I am sitting here thinking, I never tried it without the shelf, most cabinets dont have this I think, the reason I put it in is that I was reading and reading when I was drawing up the plans and I came across adding the bottom shelf as a way to stabilize temps as it forces the air in the bigger compartment for just a tad longer before its pulled through the small hole below and there were facts and proof behind it, I didnt bookmark as I put all the suggestions onto a word file and didnt add links. I have been searching an hour and cannot find the internet pages I need to give you. Anotherwords I never tried running it without the bottom shelf and for all I know it could run better, I have hardly any variance but as you know, you can do your best to replicate but at some point something will be different that will cause every one to run different.
