DIY CABINET COOLER INCUBATOR How we did it and TEST RUN Ready Set GO!

The Cabinet CoolerBator is awesome!!

Yet another great hatch! getting some orders out now!! Big steps for us this week! Cabinetcooler awesome, chicks in the mail, orders getting out!! YAY!!!

AGAIN air cell size/chick weight was leading to too much humidity so running dry was a good call from the start! What a great hatch! so happy!

Cant wait for the two new coolers to come!! I gotta get to LOWES!!!

My new spot check came, not so perfect to say the least on Saturday...

(DH bought a battery and cleaned the hole out a few minutes ago, checking in bator now)
So far my temp under pit is this....
HOWEVER I thought under the arm temps are a degree low???

CALLING ALL NURSES??

update.....

JUST FOR THE RECORD....

I DO HAVE A SLIGHT FEVER, I did oral and then I did my oral kids thermo!! Great!

HOWEVER my cabinet cooler is "spot" on

Two more of these coolers on the way!

One will be identical to this one and the other a hatcher! I cant wait, the fans came already!
Need a trip to lowes for some 2x3's, the plexi, duct tape, and a sheet of insulation!

I will be measuring and trying to find some plastic containers that will slide in the cooler slots on the side for use in the hatcher!
I am sooooo excited to make more!

we have duck eggs coming as well as HRIR this week and I have to use the smaller coolerbators for them, need to set some WFBS for an order and I dont have room!
so another is MUCH NEEDED!
just two?

Quote: ha!! yes I will need a building if I buy more! my nice new reno is filling up and my hatchin is extending into the area, I swore it wouldnt!!

I am thinking three will fit here, HOWEVER this was supposed to get pendant lighting, with finishing the top for a buffet area for parties

DH is against it, we havent yet finished the mudroom laundry room heading into this area, and I want to keep them in the laundry mudd room area at the big sink.
so I may do built in cabs with the same pallet wood fronts to match and use pallets halfway up the walls on the opposite side. IDK
I need the skids to dry out well before I can do anything. AND I need another coop built, and I need these two coolers build HA HAHA!!!

Love it I Wana try this to ! Thanks for sharing . would it be good idea to use caulk to seal any exposed foam on inside for easy sanitation and drying ? And what kind if so?

Thanks! Let us see it when your done!

Caulk on inside of what? the "air duct" addition? we did the sides of the 2x3 against the cooler on both sides? we just used regular tub caulk and then on the outside we used that real metal type duct tape to seal from leakage, so not sure where you need caulk otherwise?

Good job! Glad you had great success!

I promised to post pics of the incubator I built, been busy at work (and home) but just went out and too a couple. Only have 3 trays in it at the moment But will add more each week. Sorry about the flash and it was a bit hard to get far enough back to get it all but most of it's in the photos.
