DIY CABINET COOLER INCUBATOR How we did it and TEST RUN Ready Set GO!

Heat and fans are at the top. Next time you are in a store with a cooler like this, poke your head inside and you'll see 2 fans that circulate the air across the AC. I replaced those fans with higher CFM fans (also draw less power, 25 watts each) and placed my heat (ceramic cones with the coils around them) at the back where the air is forced out. I also a added a cage fan at the bottom to assist with circulation but didn't really need it. I had a .2 degree difference between top and bottom.

Yes, HOT CHICKS.... Couldn't have it saying cold milk or what ever it was, forgot what used to be there.
1,728 chicken egg capacity with my current trays. I average upper 80% to low 90% hatch rate.

Anything he can do you can do better if you put your mind to it. Almost everything you need to know in life as far as physical capabilities is online in some sort of form, all you need to do is research for better understanding and have the willpower to follow through. You can make a great team in the future if you take the lead and move onward. My husband is NOT a go getter by any means, TV is his "thang", that said, he still cannot sit by idle and watch me do anything constructive, well besides house work! ughhhhhhhh


So onward and build it......

He's just sick to death of building chicken stuff for/with me. In 1 year we have build 3 large coop/runs, and stairs and food shelters and all kinds of everything. But doing it the way we did, it was CHEAP! Haven't had to pay for a single peice of lumber. But.......

That's sooo true!! If I got the stuff and even attempted to start it infront of him, he would so take over!! Lol He's a major sweety, but TOTALLY OCD and his way is always the right way!! LMBO.

Ok. Now I'll have to go back to page 1 and make a list of materials.
