I grab it during the daily read through and keep track of it for everyone. I found its easier to do as I read than to do a week at a shot! lol now its not so bad anymore!!

I changed out the light bulbs - was two 90-watts & now two ~ 70-watt ( "energy equivalent ones," so an odd number).
The thermostat prob was just above the first stack of eggs, not resting in them, just suspended in air above. That seemed to be ok, not perfect temp through-out prob due to filled auto-egg turners blocking some air flow. (Hardware cloth between turners)
But, when it over heated, I put the probe on the wooden shelf blow the lights & fan.
On that link you shared, it said to put the probe in the direct air flow of the fan.
