The eggs are due on diff days all pretty close together. the last 2 were the welsummer egg, and a LO egg.

the welsummer is to dark to tell, and I candled the LO this a.m. and thought I saw a blood ring, but gave it a chance, now I candled it and I can see a spider shape forming, don't give up too soon!

some of the other eggs developing, I put up because I was bored.

This morning i candled the welsummer no development. I pulled it and gave the egg to my dog, no blood. I candled one other egg, there was a black dot but no blood veins, I cracked it and looked, it had a small development, but must have given up. I candled a 3rd, and it looked like a loose blood ring. i cracked it, and it was behind, but normal...Grr! The other seven seem to be fine, and i have a hen on 3 due sooner, but I will candle those soon.

Here are the eggs the hen was on. the tan and the cream egg were both not fertile, the big blue is developing normal, and the green is to dark to tell.

Egg is getting darker... day 10. This is the same spotted egg as the other candled egg.

How are the other eggs doing?

The dark green was too dark for a while eventually, it was just clear, the big blue from the hen was brought in and put in incubator, because we had a cold snap.When I took the eggs the mom stopped sitting. I have 6 in incubator, due on diff days. The temp has been right, and candled they seem to be doing fine. I am just hoping to see some interesting rooster actions. The one the hen sat on may be due on the 13/14th... the spotted egg on the 16th, and the others maybe after the 17/18th.

That sounds like either a long hatch or a short staggered hatch.
