I use a toilet bowl brush to clean all the waterers out. Holds up a lot longer than a bottle brush, i broke 3 so far.. i bought a new one for a buck...(dollar craze. one of those little stores) all the heat and sun they get icky fast. It has its own holder to nest in. I attached it to the wall of he coop so it doesn't get misplaced. I take them in about once a week and wash with mild bleach, then scald off eith hot water, and dry in the sun,

I've designed chicken footwear made specifically to stop injuries that cause bumblefoot and other foot injuries from punctures.

OOOooOOOoOoh! Don't just leave us hanging! We need pictures! I have a girlie with two bumble-feet, and the last batch of vetwrap (actually, people wrap) is not sticking very well, and unravelling. THIS is an invention I'd be really interrested in. More, please?!

I'm still really interested in your chicken footwear. Could you please elaborate? Or even post pictures? My poor Violet has really had a rough time of it with double bumble feet this summer. I'd like to do all I can to get her through this before winter. Thanks in advance!

sorry the pic is sideways but this is my feeder my dad and I bulit in 15 minutes with leftover materials.
this is the waterer we use for our chickens which are mostly silkies..

I'm the one that made the plastic tote one. It has a drawer that I remove and empty out the water once a day. It's great for inside. I'll be making one that's much bigger once we all get moved outside. Here's the picture of mine:
