Don't know where you live, but isn't it cold enough that you have plastic covering the windows?

well i have 4 chickins and they huddle together at night and theyre fine. No plastic at all...is that bad???ive had chickens beffore and they lived like 7 or 8 years...

so back on topic, ive never had a roo before and im worried that it will fertilize the eggs without me knowing and then theres the neibores, they wouldnt like us havin a rooster
