No, not all partridge silkies have stripes. Sometimes they'll hatch pure black, or yellow, reddish orange with somewhat of a pattern.

My sister's partridge silkie rooster was a pure black chick, my Dad's blue Partridge Silkie rooster was a Pure Blue chick, with no pattern.

Sometimes they'll look completely different then what they may turn out to be.

My project Giant silkies, I had a brown chick grow to be Buff Partridge.

Ty I got a new rooster this is my frist batch of chicks from him. I thought he was red silkie but he must be a partridge im getting all kinds of colors. I even got a snow white one but that might of came form my buff roster but I have had my buff roster for 6 years and never had white one. All my hens are buffs.

Buff Silkies are partridge Based, some will be abit leaky sometimes. He looks like a Leaky Buff.

I have read that silkies in UK are bigger. I would love to get some of them.
UK has LF, & Bantam Silkies. The UK bantam standard have silkies Smaller then our Bantam silkies. about a pound smaller then ours.

Technically the US also has LF silkies, but they're all classified as bantam which makes no sense really.

I have both LF, & Bantam. Bantams are about 2lbs, the LF are 4+lbs for roosters, & 3+lbs for hens as I can see from weighing mine.

Well maybe. you definitely seem to know more then me. He was darker when he was younger he 6 going on 7. I will have to some research on this leakage you been talking about I never heard of it before. My focus has been on breeding pure breaded silkies. Most people selling bearded silkies are really bearded / non bearded crosses.
