I know that but I have chicks that are several weeks old and I'm not sure if my polish chicks crow

Adult roosters in poor health often do not crow.

Very submissive roosters may not crow, but that is more the position on the pecking order not the breed. Polish roosters are just as likely as any rooster to crow, I think. I am going to guess that 90% at least of all roosters crow some.

Yes, they are right. Not all roos crow. Often the older roosters don't crow because they are to weak.

I used to think my silkie rooster didn't crow. Then one day I was up at 5am and forgot to gather the eggs the night before. Went to the coop to get them before the birds started laying for the day and when I opened the door there he was belting out his little crow.
