Do all roosters have wattles???

I've heard that there's really only one sure fire way to tell the sex of a silkie(or in this case Sizzle) just wait until they either lay an egg or crow!!!

I'm going to be hatching out some silkies here soon and maaaybe just maaaaybe someday have some sizzle babies!

So when that time comes you can pick on me!

I am starting to think my two young hens are roosters. They are almost five months old, no crowing, no wattles, no spurs...but they're really big and they are exhibiting some rooster-like behavior. (Mounting and squaring off against each other). What do you think?

Is a lack of wattles in malayoid breeds dominant or recessive?
