i have a 4 month old silkie who i’m 99% sure is a pullet, but today i was giving her a look over and noticed she has a long, flat feather growing from her pom. unfortunately no pics atm as they’re asleep, but is it possible for them to start developing them this late? or would it have happened a lot earlier? tyia :)

Streamers usually develop around 3-4 months of age. They are usually a little coarser than the regular feathers and will sprout from the back of the crest. Pullets CAN have them, but they will not be as long. Agree photos would be helpful.😊
