do any of y'all have a Slap-Chop?

When you are canning 61 jars of salsa, it saves your hand a little by cheating!
I do use a knife to chop the maters, it's the only thing that works right!
 
I have one...it doesn't work for me at all. It just mashes part of what I'm trying to chop and never touches the rest.
I still try to use it ever now and then...like yesterday, to chop some leeks. Still didn't work!
I'm glad it was a gift, cause I would have been really upset if I had spent any money on it.

I have the slap chop, and it does help. However, there are some things you just can't chop with it. Things that aren't 'hard' or 'dry' don't do so well. I tried to chop some cooked chicken with it, and it basically all stuck to the blades. Plus the slap chop is a bear to clean

I like my knives. I've got a good old fashioned chef's knife, a santoku, and I'm hoping to get a nakiri knife for chopping vegetables this Christmas.
