The roo and the hen pictured both look like buff rocks.

I would go with Buff Rock as well. When I had barred rocks and white rocks, they were about that weight, somewhere btw Leghorns and Orps.

Well thank you everyone for helping me figure it out I always thought she was a Buff Orp. well I guess I better change my message about my family LOL
Is there much of a different between the two breeds other than leg color and size of body?

He is awfully beautiful!!! I didn't know there was such thing as a buff rock. Learn something new everyday. How is their temperment?

I just got him yesterday, but when I got to the woman that was giving him to me, he was laying like a baby in her arms closing his eyes. So cute. When we got here to his new home, I took him out of the box, inspected him thoroughly, and held him and talked to him, told him this was his new home now and these were his girlfriends. (13 BO pullets 13 wks old) I put him down and had a pumpkin cut up for them. It took about 5 minutes for everyone to know that he was the big daddy now. I have not been able to hold him again. I will go out today, just like I do everyday, and give them treats. It won't take him long to figure me out, the treat lady that just wants to pet us.
