Do chickens become louder when they hear other chickens making noise?

Have you noticed that your chickens start making more noise when they hear other hens or roosters making noise?

ABSOLUTELY!!! They answer back. Once one starts the rest won't shut up. :|

Mine always start making more noise when they see/hear me.
