Do chickens get along with pigeons?

When we built our modest suburban chicken coop, we went a little over the top with the run. It's more like an aviary to be honest. Now we're thinking about adding a pigeon loft and 3-4 pigeons next door so they can share the aviary with the chickens. I'm just wondering if that's smart, do chickens get along well with pigeons? Are they territorial? They would all have their space but I just hope there isn't any aggression between the species.
Anyone have any insight?

If be more worried about disease, and any baby pigeons that fall by accident will most likely get devoured

In my experience with wild pigeons, my chickens chase any that get into the run, even the younger ones that are about the size of a pigeon.

my chickens range free but roost in coops. Wild pigeons roost (and nest) in trees above and around. This has been going on for 4 years here. I would say there is annoyance and sometimes aggression between the species.
Some pigeons annoy the chickens by buzzing them. One pigeon who crashed was viciously attacked and killed by the chickens (retribution?). Also, as someone else has said, any fledglings that fall (and pigeon nests are notoriously flimsy) are eaten by the chickens. Currently some pigeons are roosting directly above one of the coops and pooing on it overnight, annoying me if not also the chickens roosting within. If I could control it, I wouldn't add pigeons to a chicken set up.
