Do chickens need grit to digest corn?

Hi, just out of curiosity, does a chicken need grit to digest cracked corn? Thanks.

Yes, they do. Chickens need grit to help them grind up hard or fiberous foods (grass, seeds, etc.), and I think corn counts as hard.
