Do chicks make food calls?

I just brought home three 6 week old bantams. They were hand reared brooder chicks.

I noticed that one or two (can’t tell them apart yet) will make a food call like momma hen does to her chicks when she finds food.

Is this normal? does it mean at least one of them is a roo since roos also call their hens over for food?

I didn’t notice this behavior with the five pullets or the 3 silkies I brooded...

Roosters do that too. They might not be a rooster- but its likely
