Do chicks pick on ducklings?

My husband and I want to raise a small backyard flock: 4 chicks and 2 ducklings. The ducklings arrive on August 11th and will be 2 days old. We have the option of purchasing day old chicks from our local farm store either the weekend before the ducklings arrive or the Friday after they arrive. I have heard that chicks may pick on ducklings if they are a slightly older and settled in. Does anyone have experience with this? Would it be better to wait until the Friday after our ducklings arrive? Thanks.

You could slowly introduce them with wire between the two for the first day or two. I don't have experience with ducklings (yet

).
