Do Coyotes Kill Raccoons?

Comparing coyotes to raccoons when it come to chickens is like deciding whether you would rather be shot in the head with a 45 or a 38. Niether is good. Yes, a large coyote can probably kill a smaller coon, but it wouldn't be worth the fight to him.

NO ! yes I was yelling they will not never have kill coons. I do animal damage control for a living and trap fur on the side. I deal with these critters every day of the yr. A caged coyote will starve himself before eating coon meat , unless its cooked.

all i know is my 5 big dogs kill coon and poss and keep my chicken safe and let me know when someone is coming down the drive way

Coyotes do kill fox(es), but not for food. They eliminate others who will eat their food, thus
keeping an area to themselves. Not sure about killing raccoons...they'are tough cookies
who would fight back.
