Do drake feathers grow back?

In addition to the full molt when they go into eclipse, they may also go through a partial molt, but not full eclipse, and also lose the drake feathers.

Exactly true. Full eclipse they lose flight feathers and that molt lasts a couple of months....Get shabby looking before they are in full plumage again..

So when they go through eclipse? They are not hormonal some how my Runner drake never got that memo he hasn’t had his drake feather since sometime over summer but he has def been hormonal. Oh an my youngest Runner drake has had his drake feather about a month now and is in his beautiful plumage and isn’t mating what am I missing here. lol
