Do ducklings need grit with mealworms

My ducklings are 2 weeks old. I have read you can give them dried mealworms and peas as treats. My question is do they need grit if you feed them peas and mealworms.

Yes, they do. Put it in a little dish on the side so they can eat it as needed. They instinctively know when to eat it.

Thank you so much for the information. This is my first experience raising ducklings and I am almost as nervous as when I brought my firstborn home.They loved the peas and went to the grit just as you mentioned they would.
