Do ducklings need grit with mealworms

It is going to be warm here today so I was going to take my 3 week old ducklings outside, supervised, for a little bit. I have a feeling they will try to eat everything, is there anything I should be careful about.

They have a pretty good instinct about what to eat. Make sure there isn’t metal or strings etc laying around. You know things a toddler would pick up an put into their mouths. Love some pics of field trip!
