Do ducks sleep like chickens?

Wow, well thats one way of keeping them off her pond, Sorry it had to end that way but you'll have some mighty fine eating, so they say.

Really really sorry to read that this ended up the way it did.

Perhaps, next spring you can get some young ducks and try again,
keeping a kidddie pool available so they don't venture off and find
the pond....and the wicked neighbor....

I am sorry for your loss.....

not to sound like a jerk but thats why you dont buy pets that you cant properly care for. if my neighbors dog was crapping on my property i would be rude too. its no different. you cant blame someone for not wanting their horses to drink duck poop. if they can fly over your fence clip their wings or get a higher fence. and saying that they should welcome wildlife? really? livestock is not wildlife. improper care for ducks and chickens is why townships pass laws saying that you cant have them. dont ruin it for the responsible owners.
