Do EE's have to have pea combs to lay blue/green eggs??

Just wondering. Mine are mixed with some with pea combs and some with straight combs.

No. I have had many EE hens with single combs that laid blue and green eggs.

I have a EE mix with a Buttercup comb that lays a green egg. I have a pea comb that lays a pink egg so I would say no they don't have to have a pea comb to lay colored eggs.

They can! Not all of mine do. And not all of mine lay green/blue eggs.
