Do EEs lay in the winter?

Do EEs lay in the winter or do they take the winter season off? I have had these EEs since I would say Oct they had to be 3 to 4 months old. I have never had an egg from them I am wondering if they are freeloaders LOL.

My EEs are off and on during winter.

Mine do and I have five
Belle - age 4 lays well every winter (except when molting)
The sisters - age 3 both lay well every winter
Belle I & II - 6 months (not laying yet)

I have a very erratic EE layer. Didn't lay all fall or early winter. Did start laying in January, for a few weeks. Seems to have stopped again.

Mine layed her 1st egg bout a month ago and has been laying everyday since..

My EE girls had just started laying before winter started and they kept right on laying through the cold and snow. Now my BO and RIRs laid for about a month in the fall and then cut me off big time. They're just starting to lay here and again now but I would expect that at the first sign of cold weather they'll bring in the "eggs for sale" sign once again.

My EE is in her first winter, but she's been my best winter layer. She's reliably giving me 5 eggs a week.

my two EE lay better than anyone..at least 5 every 3 days!

My two EEs, born end of April 09, laid right through winter without a pause. Nearly an egg a day, from each. Very reliable birds.

My grown EE's have laid and are laying right through the coldest winter we have had in years. They are hardy chickens, only stopped for a couple weeks in late fall to molt.

I LOVE my EE girls...have about 30 of them and they all have the greatest personalities, not a mean one here, unlike some of my purebred hens.
