Do eggs get bigger as pullets mature?

Seems like it was MONTHS before my EEs began to lay "mediums" after their first small pullet eggs. THe older they get, the bigger...at least that's my experience.

Yes they DO get bigger. My BO's egg has been getting bigger and bigger until today I wondered how she got that thing out!!!! Two today which means one of the juvies is probably laying
